This week i started looking at finer detail and functions for my design proposal as well as addressing some of the model making exercises.
Auditorium doors which open inwards to allow people from the outside to see indoor sporting events.
Chicken Point Cabin was chosen as inspiration as it had the industrial type qualities which i wanted to follow through with in my design proposal. The Industrial type door rotates on its central axis to open

Study Model Exercise 2
Shadow
I decided to do 2 models, one a tree and the other a modular layout to see how shadow is represented.
With both models there was a defining Umbra and Penumbra of shadow which was interesting and varying between a natural and modular setting.
Light
Under my desk lamp as well as ceiling light i wanted to reflect upon light intensity on different materials
Color Composition
For the third exercise i decided to do some color composition to see how colors can effect a small space. I tried colors which would make the space recede (blue) make the space feel smaller (red) make the ceiling of the small area appear lower (black) and make the space feel large and open (white)
Study Model Exercise 3
For my detail model i decided to produce a louver system to understand the lighting and shadow conditions which were projected into the space.
